At work, I have a colleague whos struggling. She doesnt take care of herself, never visits a beautician. I often wonder where her money goes. She works, lives with her parents, doesnt have a mortgage like others, and her child is looked after by her former mother-in-law. On top of that, she receives child support.
Turns out, Emily has to pay her parents for a room and her ex-mother-in-law for childcare. I cant wrap my head around it

I thought she might stay there rent-free, but nofrom the start, they charged her. Emilys glad shes with family rather than strangers, and its better for her child too.
They even gave her a separate shelf in the fridge. She doesnt use her parents things, only occasionally treats her child to some fruit.
I dont understand how anyone could treat their own child like this, especially since Emily left her husband with nothing and was in debt to her parents for the first few months.
