It was an ordinary Saturday morning, I was traveling from my hometown to the village to visit my mother. It seems that many people thought so too and decided to go to the villages to visit their relatives, so there was only one free seat on the bus.
At the next stop, a woman with two teenagers got on the bus and immediately began a speech about how she would not pay because the mayor of the city himself was giving her an award for being a heroic mother. The driver didn’t want to argue and nodded in silence.
Seeing that there was only one free seat, next to a young girl who was taking a nap, the woman headed for it.
– “Hey, it’s time to wake up,” she said, waking the girl up, “I’m a mother of eight and I want to sit here with my daughter!
– And I’m coming from work, where I haven’t been able to close my eyes for several days. Is it possible that we can tell each other stories? There is a free seat next to me, sit down, and I’m not going to give up mine, which I paid for,” the girl said and turned back to the window. The bus was swallowed up in silence, and even the impudent mother did not know what to say and stood there like a stone.
No one stood up to defend the mother, although it was clear that she was looking around the cabin for help.
I believe that the girl is right, she paid for the seat and has the right to sit there, not give way to some teenagers… What do you think about this situation?
