Although he was in a hurry to get home, the man pulled over to the side of the road near the local rubbish tip. Amongst the discarded items, he noticed a large bag moving slightly, with faint whimpering noises coming from within.
Usually, such places are littered with broken furniture, worn-out clothes, and empty food containers. Yet what the man discovered inside the bag was both shocking and deeply saddeninga tiny puppy, heartlessly abandoned amidst the rubbish, left with no water beneath the glaring sun.
Overcome with compassion, the man rescued the helpless pup and took it straight to the nearest veterinary practice. Fortunately, the puppy was found to be in good health. Afterwards, the man contacted an animal shelter, asking them to find caring new owners for the abandoned animal.
