“Just don’t come to my wedding, Dad. Only wealthy people will be there.”

The man is raising his daughter on his own. His only wish is for her to grow into a truly decent person. He spares no expense in this regard, working tirelessly to provide his daughter with everything she needs. The girl’s life has not been easy, having lost her mother so early on.

She endures difficulties because of her circumstances. Other children tease her, leaving her in tears and feeling anxious. The man is always there to comfort his daughter, reminding her that life can take unexpected turns. His love for her is boundless and in times like these, he shows it most passionately.

Her favourite celebration has always been New Years Eve. She awaits it eagerly every year, dreaming that all her wishes will come true. Her school always gives gifts in honour of the holiday, and the students dress up in beautiful masquerade costumes or lovely dresses. The man has a hard time with money, but he always tries his best to help his daughter look her best on that special day. Once, he even bought her such a stunning dress that she became the star of her class: all her classmates admired her outfit. The girl was overjoyed and couldnt thank her father enough.

As she grew older and finished secondary school, she moved to London to attend university. Everything happened just as she had planned, for she was exceptionally clever. Life in the city changed her a great deal. She discovered a taste for wealth and grew into someone who carefully calculated her choices. She began to see men who were keen to shower her with expensive gifts and spend money on fine dining.

Later, when she became pregnant, she prepared to marry. She felt extremely happy, as her chosen partner was wealthy. But she didnt even consider inviting her father or the rest of her relatives to the ceremony. Instead, she wrote a message telling her father not to come, explaining that the wedding would be attended by wealthy guestsand he didnt belong among them.

The man was deeply hurt by her actions. For years, he had invested everything he had in his daughter, always supporting and helping her. Did he really deserve to be treated this way? Yet, after much thought, the man made his way to the city.

When the time came to greet the guests, the father approached his daughter. He handed her a small bouquet of flowers, kissed her, and wished her luck, before quietly leaving. The girl was left motionless, overcome with shame and regret for her terrible behaviour. How could she treat her dearest and closest person like this?

She rushed after her father, sobbing, asking forgiveness and promising she would never do something so awful again.
