On a sun-drenched afternoon in the heart of the Cotswolds, a group of friends gathered outside a charming village pub, their laughter carrying on the gentle breeze as they tucked into sandwiches and crisps. Suddenly, a tiny wild roe deer fawn, its spindly legs trembling beneath it, ambled shyly onto the patio. Not far from this scene at Oakridge Stables in Yorkshire, another story was capturing heartsa Clydesdale foal, barely a month old, was making his first public appearance at the spring fair. With a crowd of eager locals gathered along the paddock fence, the sturdy little colt trotted out, undaunted by the sea of applause and flashes of mobile phone cameras. Instead of shrinking from the attention, the young horse pranced proudly, lifting his white-socked legs high, his mane tossing as he basked in the cheers.
