Today reminded me what true friendship looks like. My dog, Daisy, seemed to sense that I was a bit worn out and in need of some sleep, so she quietly padded over and gently nudged me awake without a fuss. Theres something so comforting about the way she looks out for meits her gentle way of showing she cares.
Eventually, I stirred and found Daisy sitting patiently beside my bed. I climbed out of the blankets and she was so delighted, I couldnt help but scoop her up for a big hug. Almost instantly, we were playing together, filling the room with energy and laughter.
