My Ex-Wife Tried to Sue Me for Half the House, But She Never Expected That I Had Already Taken Precautions

My relationship with my ex ended in the courtroom. I wont point fingers at who was to blame honestly, in every relationship, both sides have a hand in it.
The reality is that my second wife found herself a lover. Hes a wealthy businessman who moved here years ago and later opened a cosy coffee shop in our town. At first, she tried to keep her affair secret, but eventually, they stopped caring who saw them together.
Then she came to me, bold as brass, and told me she was filing for divorce and wanted to claim half our house. She probably expected me to panic or worry, but the property was bought solely with my hard-earned pounds. She had nothing to do with acquiring the house other than living there for two years. Now she has the nerve to demand a share.
I handled it calmly. I didnt even try to talk her out of going to court. I simply waited for her to lose the case and have to pay the court fees. Id already had a bad experience with my first wife. That court battle dragged on for more than three years, mainly because neither of us could agree on anything. Every hearing ended in a row.
My first wife ultimately got what she wanted she sued me for half my assets. She landed herself a clever solicitor. She managed to leave me without the flat I inherited from my father.
But with my second wife, I acted far more wisely. Before marrying her, I owned a property which Id renovated myself, but I registered it in my brothers name. Hes someone I trust absolutely. So, when divorce proceedings started, it turned out I had nothing to my name. After my first disastrous marriage, no woman could ever take advantage of me again.
