Neighbours reported eerie noises coming from a derelict house, and when police arrived, they found something horrifying inside.
A frantic call came into the local police station. A mans voice, trembling and unfamiliar, claimed strange sounds were drifting from the abandoned house next door. He didnt know exactly what was happening but insisted officers come at once.
A team was dispatched, accompanied by a police German Shepherd. They scoured the area, knocking on doors and questioning residents. Most hadnt heard a thingonly an elderly man recalled faint groans in the night, though hed dismissed them as a neighbours telly.

Later, they learned he was the homeowner. Days earlier, a minor tremor had rattled the area, and the shoddy foundations of his crumbling house gave way. The floor collapsed beneath him, sending him crashing down, his head striking hard. For days, hed been trapped, unable to move or call for help.
