A Tale of Three Perspectives on One Situation

The Parable: “Three Views of One Situation”

One day, three women stood at a market stall selling apples in Manchester.

The first sighed and said,
“Look at these—small, bruised… and the price is daylight robbery! You can’t find anything decent these days. The world’s going to the dogs.”

The second smiled and replied,
“I think this year’s harvest is a real blessing. The weather’s been tricky, but these apples—though not perfect—are full of juice. The growers must have worked hard.”

The third silently opened her purse and said,
“My grandson’s poorly at home. He adores baked apples. He couldn’t care less how they look—he just wants them made with love.”

The Lesson:
We all see the world through our own story.
To some, these are just bad apples.
To others, a chance to support someone’s hard work.
And to some, a way to show warmth and care.
Before you judge—ask yourself where in your heart you’re looking from.
