Sarah studied at the Faculty of Philology. After graduation, she started working in her field of study. Although she didn’t earn much, it was enough to meet her needs.
In general, everything was great for Sarah, except for one thing: her relationship.
She was divorced and raising a daughter. Her husband left the family when the girl was two years old. He did not meet her expectations. Since then, Sara has been hoping to meet a man who will sincerely love her and make her happy. Sarah and I used to talk from time to time. Our children attended the same class. Sara often told me what her future husband should be like: polite, good-natured, able to overcome life’s difficulties with ease, and most importantly, to become a father to her daughter and love the girl as his own.
Sara tried to look for her husband, but she met men who were looking for entertainment, not a woman to live with. Some pretended to be looking for a wife, but in the end it turned out that the man in question was not ready to become a family man.
Once Sarah did meet a man. They talked for quite a while. Sarah was sure that he was the one for life. They decided to get to know each other better. Sarah put on her best black dress and waited for them to finally meet.
But the man did not come at the appointed time. Half an hour passed, and he still wasn’t there. He did not answer her messages. Sarah was upset by his actions, but on the other hand, she was glad that he did not come. The woman was very afraid of dating.
When she returned home, Sarah saw a message on the dating site. “I came forty minutes earlier than the scheduled time and decided to watch you. And you know, I don’t like what I saw at all. Your frightened hands, your uncertain look… And that dress! It must have come from your grandmother. You know, it’s a shame to go out with someone like you.”
Sarah could not believe her eyes. Pain was squeezing her chest. She had never thought about how she looked. After that, she realized a lot and decided that it was time to change something in her appearance and behavior.
