Lina met Philip by accident. She and her husband moved to a small town five months ago. So, looking for help, she remembered her former classmate, with whom she had once had a very good relationship. She was also married and had her own house. Lina asked her friend to let them stay with her for a while until they found an apartment.
From the very beginning, Rebecca’s friend’s husband behaved very strangely toward Lina. He would often glance at Lina and ask her about her life and work. Even Rebecca was not as friendly as her husband. And then everything spun unexpectedly and quickly. Lina and Philip started a relationship. Lina thought she had never met a man like him in her life. They carefully hid their affair. They didn’t even look at each other around their significant others, exchanged a few words, and as soon as they were alone, their relationship was the stuff of envy. They both realized that there was no other option but to hide everything. And so it went on. And then the passion passed. Philip began to feel cold toward Lina. They no longer talked about their future together as they used to. There were no more thoughts of leaving their halves.
Over time, Philip began to assure Lina that he would not dare to leave his wife, no matter how much he liked Lina. During this time, Lina became very cold toward her husband. They didn’t talk much and didn’t say nice things to each other at all. Her husband was worried that they had nowhere to go back to. They were in a strange city and living with strangers.
One day Lina called Philip to talk to her. She was upset. Philip had already thought that her husband knew everything. But the reason was different. The woman handed him a pregnancy test with two stripes on it. She told him she was pregnant. Lina did not know what to do next. She waited for Philip to say something to her. But he was silent…

Lina was sure that Philip would be happy with the news, support her, but he was not. Although she knew for sure that he was the father.
A month passed. Lina and her husband found another place to live. They felt uncomfortable staying so long, and it was time to make a decision. Only since then, Lina has not seen Philip. She decided not to say anything to her husband. She hopes that having a child will strengthen their relationship, and she doesn’t want to think about Philip anymore.
